SATAN WANTS THE CHURCH
In Acts 20:28-30, Paul warns us:
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
The accuracy of Paul’s warning will soon become clear. Satan’s utter revenge is now directed at the Church. First he breaks it down with his dogma which initially does not seem wrong, but his diabolic objective is to take over the Church to become his own place of worship. This may sound far-fetched, but we will soon see how Satan in the course of history did succeed, to a certain extent, in importing some of the most horrendous satanic customs into the Church.
WARNINGS FROM DANIEL AND JESUS
About 600 BC the prophet Daniel warned us as follows in Daniel 12:1
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Jesus repeats this prophecy in Matthew 24:15:
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Paul further enlightens us in 2 Thessalonians 2 – 10:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
SATANISM IN THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Now let us have a look at a few cases from history where satanism was practised in the Church. In the founding centuries of the Christian Church, the Church leaders adopted various set heathen festival days, even attributing the names of some of their saints to such days – seemingly to win the favour of the heathens – but such compromises eventually led to a complete fallacy and deception. The following table shows but a few examples of feasts on both satanist and Christian calendars:

TRIUMPH BY THE CROSS
This could well be the reason why Paul sent this admonition to the Christians of Colosse as said in Colossians 2:15-17:
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
