PRAY IN FAITH
MARK 11:22 “Jesus answered and said to them: You must have faith in God.”
HEBREWS 11:1 (AMP) “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].”
HEBREWS 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God; for he who goes to God must believe that He is and is a rewarder of those who seek Him”.
When we pray, we must have an expectation that our Father hears us and that He will answer us. Jesus says in JOHN 14:12 “Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth in Me – the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to My Father.”
Do we really believe it? What is our expectation when we pray? Do we expect that things will change? That broken relationships will be mended? That sick people are going to get well? That people who are bound are going to be set free? When we pray for things and it do happen immediately, we must not become discouraged but persevere in faith.
Keep praying, keep believing and trust that God will give the answer in His time. Do not doubt and do not fear. Stand firm, believe and trust. Persevere in prayer.
