IN CHRIST WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS
EPHESIANS 4:27 “Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him].”
2 CORINTHIANS 4:3-4 “But if our gospel is still veiled, it is veiled in those who are lost, namely the unbelievers in whom the god of this world has blinded the senses, so that the enlightenment of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God is, on them would not shine.”
JOHN 14:30 “I will not speak much more with you; for the ruler of this world comes and has nothing on Me.”
Give the devil no place, he is called the god of this world, and the ruler of this world. Satan gained that position when man listened to him and sinned, rather than obeying God our Father. Sin gives a grip or place of dominion to the devil in our lives.
That’s why Jesus says “For the rulers of this world come and find nothing in Me”. That’s why Jesus could pay for our sins and give the rulership to all who believe in Him.
JOHN 16:33 AMP “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”
Then we read in 1 JOHN 5:4 “For everything born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcame the world, our faith. Then The Word says ROMANS 8:37 “But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Let us give no place to the devil. Clean up, hold on to our Savior and know you are more than a conqueror.
