THE NAME OF THE LORD IS A STRONG TOWER
LUKE 14:28-30 “For which of you who wants to build a tower does not first sit down and calculate the cost, whether he has the means to carry it out? – [29] So that if he has laid the foundation and is unable to not finish it, all who see it, will not perhaps begin to mock him [30] and say: This man has started building and couldn’t finish.” When we start any project or make a decision, we have to make sure we are going to be able to finish it. We must stick to the decision we made. Many people begin to walk a path with The Lord and then the temptation of the world becomes too strong.
MARK 4:19 “And the cares of this world and the seduction of riches and the lusts in connection with other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.”
We have a saying in construction that things seldom go wrong but usually start wrong. When we decide to give our life to the Lord and live for Him, I must remove everything that can hinder this decision from my path.
Remember Jesus says in MATTHEW 24:13 “But he who perseveres to the end will be saved.”
The reward we receive in Christ surpasses any persecution or anything we have to give up now. Keep your eyes focused on the winning post. Persevere and complete your tower.
