COME TO ME

COME TO ME ALL WHO ARE HEAVY-LADEN

MATTHEW 11:28  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

PSALMS 34:18  “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Jesus says to you this morning “Come to Me, I will give you rest” Then He says that He will send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit.  There is nothing and no one that can comfort us like the Holy Spirit can comfort us.

In my life I have had times of great loss, the comfort of people helped a lot, but the inner healing of the Holy Spirit made me whole. When we experience great loss or disappointment it is good to mourn, it is the right thing to do.  Then, however, we must immediately allow the Comforter to begin healing us.

Jesus says in LUKE 4  “He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted; to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind; to set the broken-hearted free;”

Jesus sees where you are, He truly understands and will comfort and strengthen you.
